Like most harmonica players I started out playing blues, but when I heard Rick Epping play an Irish jig on the XB-40 I was totally blown away! Since then my main music style has been traditional Irish folk music.
I have always been crazy about building and creating stuff. Everything from cars, furniture and of course harmonicas.
1993 - I got my first harmonica at the age of two.
2005 - I started to take lessons from Mikael Bäckman. A world class harmonica player from Piteå. One of the best teachers I know. He gives private lessons locally and online. See page links
2008 - I met Brendan Power for the first time, and that was a huge step in my Irish playing. He is a player who has inspired me a lot!
- The very same year I met Dick Sjoeberg from Malmö, Sweden. He tought me all about tone, and inspired me to make custom harmonicas and combs.
2011 - I met Rick Epping, we became very close friends and he helped a lot on my journey to make the ultimate harmonica. (According to myself)
2013 - Dick Sjoeberg retired and I bought all his machines and his concept of custom harmonica combs.
2014/2015 - Was a busy year. My workshop was set up, and I overcame a lot of problems in the production process. Building jig fixtures, programming the CNC machine, building the web page and everything else you need to do when you're starting up a new company.
- I came in 3rd place at the world championship of Irish music, in the Mouth Organ class.
2016 - I moved my workshop to a bigger place and registerd a company. And now I'm up and running for the first time.
